Welcome to the Connecticut Parkinson's Working Group

We are a non-profit organization that provides support and social networking for people with Parkinson’s and their caregivers. We meet once a month to share information and experiences. Most meetings have a presenter who is an expert in his/her field.

Our June 18th 2022 meeting will be both in-person and online!
This event requires pre-registration so we can send the Zoom link to online attendees and ensure adequate social distancing space for in-person attendees. To register, please email martha.jaffe@cpwg.org and identify if you will be joining online or in-person.

20th Anniversary Celebration for CPWG

Please join us at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1055 Randolph Road, Middletown, CT OR Online (Zoom)

Please come help us celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Connecticut Parkinson's Working Group – CPWG. Share in the festivities which will include an ice cream social (non dairy alternative available!), brief history of CPWG, and an inspirational message from a community member. We will also take part in a drumming/rhythm activity. Studies have shown that drumming can benefit people with Parkinson's by reducing symptoms of PD and activating the brain. If you have anything to use for a drum and sticks (even a kitchen pan with wooden spoons), bring them along.

To register: Contact Martha at martha.jaffe@cpwg.org or 860-704-9519 and let her know if you plan to attend online or in-person and mark your calendars!
