“Your Help Can Make A Difference” and “Sharing Our Experiences Helps, Too!”

Please join us at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1055 Randolph Road, Middletown, CT for an in-person, open mic, socially distanced outdoor meeting.

Michelle Hespeler, of Beat PD Today (beatpdtoday.com) who is a person with Parkinson’s and an Ambassador for Clinical Trials, will explain a new landmark study, PPMI, “The Parkinson’s Progression Markers Initiative” which seeks to ID Parkinson’s progression biomarkers which are critical for the development of new and better treatments. Using her own experiences, she will help us understand the process and qualifications needed to make informed decisions about our own choice(s) to participate in this or other clinical trials.

Then, sharing our experiences “Open mic” continues. Everyone is invited to share their successes and cautions regarding their own experiences with PD, to help us be more informed about the ups and downs of this disease.

Please bring your own beverage and snacks. We’ll have chairs, but you may wish to bring a more comfortable lawn chair for yourself. In case of poor weather, we will move the meeting indoors.
