Welcome to the Connecticut Parkinson's Working Group

We are a non-profit organization that provides support and social networking for people with Parkinson’s and their caregivers. We meet once a month to share information and experiences. Most meetings have a presenter who is an expert in his/her field.

Our July 16th 2022 meeting will be both in-person and online!
This event requires pre-registration so we can send the Zoom link to online attendees and ensure adequate social distancing space for in-person attendees. To register, please email martha.jaffe@cpwg.org and identify if you will be joining online or in-person.

Learn to improve your gait and your cognitive thinking

Please join us at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1055 Randolph Road, Middletown, CT OR Online (Zoom)

Everyone has a pattern of movement when they walk and while each human gait may look different, they all function under one universal principal – “a gait is most efficient when it is perfectly balanced.” We’ll learn to improve our gait and physical movement by improving our cognitive function using the Witty Sem and OptoGait Technologies from Microgate USA. Nathan Seversky, a MS-Geriatric Health and Wellness and American Board Certified Prosthetist for the past 20 years, will show us how.

To register: Contact Martha at martha.jaffe@cpwg.org or 860-704-9519 and let her know if you plan to attend online or in-person and mark your calendars!
